「派利是」是農曆新年的傳統習俗，香港人每年使用3.2億個利是封，相當於砍伐16,300棵樹。綠領行動「利是封回收重用大行動」會把收集所得的利是封經社福機構的工場篩選處理變成「新生利是封」，並供市民領取。中大今年繼續支持此活動，並於校園設置利是封回收箱，鼓勵中大社群惜物減廢， 實踐低碳生活。

Giving lai-see is the tradition of Lunar New Year. Every year, 320 million lai-see packets are consumed by Hong Kong people, which is equivalent to cutting 16,300 trees. The ‘Lai-See Reuse and Recycling Programme’ organized by Greeners Action collects used lai-see packets for selection by the workshops of the social welfare organizations. ‘Reborn Lai-See Packets’ will then be distributed to the citizens. CUHK continues to support this programme by placing lai-see packet collection boxes on campus to encourage the CUHK community to reduce waste and adopt a low-carbon lifestyle.
