Children's Books Matter: Free Children's books for Children of Ethnic Minorities and Asylum Seekers in Hong Kong

CUHK Event, SDGs | 04 January 2020

Children from families of asylum seekers have limited access to books as they are not eligible for applying their own public library cards.  With an aim to make reading more accessible to all children, Rolling Books, together with other NGOs, is actively advocating for policy changes.  Meanwhile, they are arranging community events to re-distribute pre-loved children books to families in need.

Book Collection:

  • Books with English or bilingual contents for age 6–17 (Textbooks, magazines or exercise books would not be accepted)
  • Contact info@rollingbooks.hk

Community Events:

  • Tuen Mun | 4 January 2020 (Saturday)
  • Yau Ma Tei | 11 January 2020 (Saturday)
  • Lai Chi Kok | 18 January 2020 (Saturday)
