Green Ambassadors Wanted for Dragon Boat Carnival

The 'Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Carnival' will be held in Central Harbourfront on 14–16 June 2019. EPD is now looking for green ambassadors to provide assistance to this green mega event.
Basic Requirement:
- 18 years old or above
- Able to speak English and/or Cantonese
- Being passionate about reducing single-use plastic in our community
- Willing to dedicate their energy and enthusiasm to promoting and encouraging better recycling and waste management behaviour during the event
Duties:
- Provide recycling information to event participants
- Help promote 'bring your own bottle' or other green messages
- Manage reusable tableware lending service
- Monitor recycling facilities and water stations
Location:
Central Harbourfront
Shifts:
- On 14 June 2019 (Friday):
Shift 1: 12:00–17:00 (5 hours)
Shift 2: 17:00–21:00 (4 hours)
- On 15–16 June 2019 (Saturday and Sunday):
Shift 1: 09:00–15:00 (6 hours)
Shift 2: 15:00–21:00 (6 hours)
(Briefing session will be provided at the beginning of each shift)
As a token of appreciation, each volunteer will receive:
- Allowance of $60 per shift provided by HKTB
- A uniform T-shirt provided by HKTB
- An e-certificate issued by EPD
