The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is determined to achieve a considerable reduction in its per-capita energy consumption and per-capita greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2025 from the levels recorded in the baseline year 2005. Thanks to the collective efforts of all members of the University, we have achieved a notable level of reduction in recent years.
To build on this encouraging record, the Campus Planning and Sustainability Office (CPSO) is now engaging CUHK staff and students to seek stakeholder support for the achievement of the University's sustainability targets. The responses we receive from this exercise will inform next-stage planning and decision-making.
