CUHK Event, Energy, Low Carbon | 30 March 2019
CUHK Participates in Earth Hour
'Earth Hour' will be held on 30 March (Saturday) to help raise public awareness on climate change. Similar to previous years, CUHK will continue to participate in 'Earth Hour' by turning off the non-essential lights on campus. At 8:30pm that evening, the decorative flood lighting at the following locations will be turned off for an hour as a gesture of support:

- Crooked Bridge and Arch Bridge at Lake Ad Excellentiam
New Asia College
- Water Tower
- Pavilion of Harmony
United College
- Water Tower
- Roof garden of T.C. Cheng Building
- 1/F podium of Chan Chun Ha Hostel
- Signage of Cheung Chuk Shan Amenities Building
Shaw College
- Herbal Garden
- Common areas of student hostels
- Spotlights of Dr. Tan Siu-lin Terrace
Morningside College
- Student Common Room, G/F Tower Block
