Green O'Camp Sponsorship 2018 now accepting applications
Organizer: Campus Planning and Sustainability Office
Sponsored items: T-shirts, towels, BPA-free bottles or BPA-free cutlery
Sponsorship: A maximum sponsorship of $25 per item
Application deadline: 15 Jun
To encourage O'Camps to incorporate environmentally-friendly elements into O'Camp activities and also help introduce a green lifestyle and CUHK's green resources to freshmen, a 'Green O'Camp Sponsorship' is now being offered to O'Camp Organizing Committees (OCs) for the fifth year in a row! Participating O’Camps are required to fulfill at least 10 green actions (out of 20) from a 'Green O'Camp Action List' while planning and hosting O'Camps. A ‘Greenest O'Camp Award’ will be awarded to the O'Camp that has fulfilled the highest number of actions in the 'Green O'Camp Action List'.
Sponsorship for 'plastic-free' challenge
To encourage O'Camps to minimize the use of disposable items, we will offer additional sponsorship to O'Camps in taking action to avoid using disposable plastic items at major O'Camp events or throughout the whole O'Camp.
